Christy Beving
Founder & Owner
Christy grew up in the small town of Clark, SD. A few days after graduating high school, she moved to Minneapolis, MN so she could spread her wings in the big city. She graduated from Brown College with an Associates Degree in Visual Communications (graphic / web design) in 2003.
She started as a sole proprietor company, now named “Downtown Design, LLC” with just a handful of clients she would work on between her jobs as a graphic designer and pre-press operator at local print shops in the area. Work included graphic design, pre-press, design sketches and website design for both small local businesses and large corporations, including the Target corporation.
In 2003 she started flying completely solo in her proprietorship, offering graphic design and print brokering services. A few years later, she added website design then eventually digital marketing.
Jeff Hunter
Account Executive
Jeff grew up in Kettering, OH, a suburb of Dayton. Upon graduation from high school, he moved to Minneapolis, MN to pursue education for Ministry. Having spent 20+ years in full-time ministry as a pastor, he has experience in graphic design and website building for churches, as well as church business finance. In 2020, Jeff left full-time ministry and started a non-profit for coaching young ministers. In 2021, was hired as the Account Executive, to manage clients and financials for Downtown Design, LLC. Using his experience in graphic design and website design, Jeff quickly began working on website designs, graphic design and now digital marketing.
Now as a married couple, Jeff supports his wife’s business in every way he can. As the primary communication for customer service and billing, Jeff is invaluable to the clients we serve.
Jeff Hunter and Christy Beving married in May, 2022. Together they service all their customers in-house doing their own graphic design, website design, marketing & consulting.
They reside in the suburbs of Sioux Falls, SD but travel regularly to their different office locations. Together they have 6 children: Gabe, Noah, Jonah, Gideon, Asher and Emma. Their favorite part of their job is helping others grow and thrive in business, just as they have. In their spare time, they enjoy ministering, motorcycling, camping and traveling.
