Clover Vs. Square
A closer look at the top two competing POS systems in the micro business retail market.
The world of e-commerce is super confusing. If you are like most of my clients, they have never set-up up an online store before and don’t even know where to start.
They usually end up doing some homework and jump into the most all-inclusive, easiest and what seems to the be the most affordable option at the time. Then, either one of two things happen, they:
1) feel oversold, and it’s not as easy as it seemed and they run into all sorts of issues making the whole process super frustrating
2) find out that it’s not as cheap as they thought, they try to get their rate down only to realize that they are locked into something either by contract or by already have buying the system, they can’t afford or don’t want to pay for another whole new system
This is where I come in.
Starting off with the right system is the first step when it comes to starting an e-commerce website and/or retail store. Knowing exactly the pros and cons BEFORE you jump in is key to making that right choice.
Below I’ve taken the top two competing Point-of-Sale (POS) systems specifically designed what my clients are looking for, Clover and Square.
Overall, I’d rate the Clover a much better value. At the end of the day, you just want to be prepared in what you are getting to and not being oversold or locked into any situation that you will regret.
